The Vision
A long time affection for fine art, literature and nature coupled with decades of experience as a photographer has cultivated Jim’s mature and refined sense of composition and understanding of light. Jim is truly excited each and everyday to be working on projects both for his clients and his personal projects such as his annual calendar.

The Studio
Jim Smith Photography works about half the time on location and half the time photographing at the studio. Located in New York’s Hudson Valley, the studio is fully equipped with a kitchen, ample space, a state of the art computer lab, and printing equipment for mock-ups and custom prints.
