The extradinary photo begins in the imagination of the photographer who says, “My best adventure is into authentic photography.” Shooting for over 25 years, Jim has realized several lifelong photographic dreams: to shoot widlife dwarfed by Ngorongoro Crater in Africa, to shoot images of fathers and their new babies, to travel the USA doing a book of portraits, to create over 30 cookbooks, to create images among the ruins of Clonmacnoise at dawn, to capture his grandfather’s home in Barbados.

Alive to expressing the beauty of the world, Jim has devoted his entire life to art projects, photos for books and self assignments. With a background in fine art, Jim moves people to experience what he has captured on film. Jim’s work has been published in over 70 books and in leading magazines such as: The New York Sunday Times Magazine,Travel and Leisure, Geo, National Geographic, etc. He has been featured on television programs and his images have been exhibited in galleries across the United States.
